Business Analyst (Purchasing Platform) (m/w/d)

You will gather and analyze user feedback and business requirements, to assist in product development decisions and ensure that the product meets the needs of the target market.

You will focus on reporting risks and creating functional and higher-level technical specifications for software development, testing and implementation projects.

On a continuous basis, you will evaluate and improve, harmonize and automate business processes to ensure that they are efficient, while understanding and identifying interdependencies.

You will take charge of managing vendor and stakeholder relationships, while either supporting or leading contract negotiations, defining SLAs based on business requirements, approving purchase orders and reviewing invoices.

You will keep track of industry trends and new technologies and make recommendations for their adoption where appropriate.

You will organize and moderate meetings, workshops and required training sessions.

Completed studies in the field of IT or business administration.

At least 2 -3 years of professional experience as a business analyst, requirements engineer, project manager or a similar position.

Experience in the field of purchasing and product sourcing, product management, product data management, supplier-management is a plus.

Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, translating complex business needs into clear IT requirements and aligning these with broader strategic goals.

Knowledge of project management tools and Agile methodologies, such as Jira and Confluence.

A solution-oriented and team player attitude, with strong communication skills.

Passion for listening, understanding, and questioning.

A high level of German and English.
